The Poison Dart Frog also known as the Poison Arrow Frog is native to Central and South America.
These frogs come in all different bright colorations which is a sign of toxicity! This poison is caused
by what they eat! However, they are not a big threat to humans because to be hurt by these frogs
ingestion has to occur and in captivity their diet is controlled. These frogs are so small that they
grow up to be 0.75 to 1.5 inches in length!
Poison Dart Frogs are endangered because of climate change and habitat loss.
Efforts are in the works to help save this habitat known as the Amazon.
