The Amazon River Dolphin is also known as the pink river dolphin. The dolphin is quite a funny
looking creature! This species only lives in freshwater throughout the Amazon river and other
places like river basins in Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and a few others. These dolphins can grow up to
9.2 feet in length and can weigh up to 350 pounds! Quite a large animal with molar teeth like humans!
There are now currently actions in place to help these dolphins habitats improve and be
preserved since this species is threatened.
