Animals In The Amazon Rainforest

About The Amazon

The Amazon is the worlds largest rainforest. This rainforest covers over 6 million square kilometers.
Due to this large size it covers 9 different countries as well as one overseas terriotory. About 60% of the rainforest
is in Brazil while the rest is shared amongst Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela, and
the French Guiana. and means that there is an abundance of life and diversity in this ecosystem. However, the Amazon
rainforest is being hurt by all the deforestation and pollution happening. Almost all websites about the Amazon bring this up
because it is such a big issue. This can leave a lot of the wildlife without homes which leads to species being endangered and
later on to go extinct if something isn't done. This website tackles just a mere few awesome animals that live there! Click on the pages to learn!
