The Best Sport at Bryn Athyn College!
The women's soccer team has been growing into a real competitive sport here at Bryn Athyn. We have won multiple championships, got fancy rings, and even lots of free merch celebrating our accomplishments. Each year some of our players are picked for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team in the United East overall division. This is big for such a small school because it shows the hard work our players put in every day. The accomplishments however are not when it comes to what this team offers! We offer a way to make friends, as well as crazy activities that really make the team memorable. We do tag, dodgeball, and crazy frog jumping to help mold and bond the team together. The team loves these fun games because it takes stress off everything and makes everyone happy. Our practices only run for an hour and a half. Every day Monday through Friday, at 7am. Honestly, a great time to have practice because it allows us to do other things during the day and not have to worry about practice. I know a lot of us like to go work out with weights in the afternoon and do something together as a team. Most of the dinners we are all together and talking about our day or the practice we had in the morning. Finally, Bryn Athyn is such a beautiful place to play soccer and continue something you love. The fans are crazy, and teachers love coming to our games. They even help us when we may be struggling in a class because they want us to be successful both on the field and in the classroom. It’s just such a great environment and the field is beautiful. Both at night and during the day when the sun is shining right on your face. Soccer is really the best here!
