Theistic Existentialism

Theistic existentialism does believe in a God. God and full consciousness is the prime reality; and the world around us is the external reality. Humans are created in the image of God. Theistic existentialists do believe in an afterlife and one can know through faith, not through reason and rationality. Ethics are subjective but they come from God and we change them and they become personal commitments. History as a series of events is meaningless but, as a model, it is important.

Karl Barth and Soren Kierkegaard are examples of theistic existentialists.
